While our efforts are driven by our organization’s singular focus, we spread a wide net by investing in a variety of progressive strategies. MOVE MORE LIVE WELL WORKSHOP

We are excited to announce our partnership with the Syrian Canadian Foundation and TakingITGlobal's Rising Youth Program to provide a virtual workshop on the health benefits of exercise and resources within newcomer communities across Ontario (July 17-18th 2021). Our goal was to help motivate and encourage individuals to live an active lifestyle by improving their health literacy and provide FREE activity kits that can help participants live an active lifestyle.

MY ACTIVE INGREDIENT PARTNERSHIP

We are excited to announce our partnership with My Active Ingredient to create 50+ patient handouts on physical activity for chronic and post-surgical outcomes. This includes physical activity for patients with type 2 diabetes, asthma, post-total knee replacement and after receiving a stoma! Visit myactiveingredient.ca to see more.

ACCESSIBLE EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION WORKSHOP

We are excited to announce our successful workshop in partnership with Ontario Medical School Association (OMSA) on September 24th 2022. We provided a virtual workshop on exercise prescription to medical students across the country, highlighting barriers to physical activity and how to promote this aspect in their practice. We were pleased to have Dr Alter, Dr Julia Alleyne, Raj Suppiah, PT and Dr Fiona Moola speak to our attendees.

We provided a virtual workshop on the health benefits of exercise and resources within young adults (18-30) in Ottawa. Our goal was to help motivate and encourage individuals to live an active lifestyle by improving their health literacy and provide FREE activity kits that can help participants live an active lifestyle.
